In “Alchemy,” AVM pushes the boundaries of her mixed media usage, to express the process of alchemy into physical form: where an abundant medium (metal) undergoes the seemingly impossible—where it is transformed into a unique, rare + extremely valuable artifact (gold).

AVM’s “Alchemy” is a fine art series, where AVM uses various mediums + mixed media, to give the illusion of metal onto canvas. These paintings are inspired by AVM’s favorite book, “The Alchemist,” by Paulo Coelho and incorporates words, intentions, + mixed media to create a once in a lifetime series, inspired by AVM’s pursuit of her own Personal Legend through her art.

AVM explores the natural aptitude for human beings to transmute visions + goals into reality. Such a gift, is a science and a form of magic. The process of manifestation + the creation of one’s desired life, is a worthy pursuit, in spite the odds.
